This is an incomplete listing of short stories written by James Sallis. Many of these have been published in collections over the course of the past three decades. A Few Last Words was Jim's first book, published in the early 1970s, and today is something of a collector's item; Limits of the Sensible World is a US publication still in print; Time's Hammers: Collected Stories was published in the UK in August 2000 by Toxic; the manuscript of Beautiful White Ruins of America is currently doing the rounds of the US publishing houses.
